Attend a meeting.

Each month DINA holds meetings to discuss issues of interest to the community. We generally meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the Church of the Holy Cross on the corner of Seven Farms Drive and Daniel Island Drive. Check our calendar to confirm each meeting’s date, time, and location. We’ll also provide details about the meeting’s agenda.

Become a member.

DINA is open to all residents of Daniel Island regardless of where you live and whether you rent or own. Yearly membership dues of $10 per household entitle members to full voting participation in decisions that affect all Island residents, discounts at DINA-sponsored events, and a DINA discount card to be used at many Island businesses. The strength of DINA depends on the commitment of its membership. Together we speak with a louder voice.

Join a committee.

DINA accomplishes much of its work through small groups of residents who are interested in a particular issue affecting the community. For example, the Parks Committee works closely with the City of Charleston and our elected officials to ensure our interests are represented. If you want to take action on a particular issue, contact DINA’s officerss to join a committee or to start a new one.
