Get Involved/Join DINA

I am interested in DINA. How do I join and how do I get involved once I’m a member?

Two ways to become a MEMBER.

DINA is open to all residents of Daniel Island regardless of where you live and whether you rent or own. Yearly membership dues of $10 (per household) entitle members to full voting participation in decisions that affect all Daniel Island residents.

Attend a MEETING.

Approximately every other month, DINA holds a meeting to discuss issues of interest to the community. We usually meet at the Church of the Holy Cross on the corner of Seven Farms Drive and Daniel Island Drive. Check our calendar to confirm each meeting’s date, time, and location. We’ll also provide details about the meeting’s agenda.

Join a COMMITTEE.

DINA accomplishes much of its work through small groups of residents who are interested in a particular issue affecting the community. For example, the Land Use and Zoning works closely with the City of Charleston and our elected officials to ensure our interests are represented. If you want to take action on a particular issue, contact DINA’s officers to join a committee or to start a new one.  Click here to learn more about our committees.
